Libya Scandal

I had hoped this was not the case, but it seems more and more apparent that Libya is getting something absolutely huge out of this deal.

This article details Libya's actions.

Given their openness, they are either playing a deadly game of trying to get the world off of their back so that in 10 to 15 years they will have the cash and technology to build whatever bomb they want, or several other unlikely back-door deals that we are doing with them. Although they are giving up a lot, I don't see what they are getting out of this yet. Well I hope that when the scandal breaks it happens after the 2004 election for Bush's sake.

Of course, we are bring down a lot of dirty individuals.
