Electoral mapper
My method.
I split the undecided vote evenly between the two candidates, and if nader was in the state, I gave one percentage point to him, then split the undecided. (I think that is generous.). Well I learned that the Key to the entire game is Ural.
I don't think the polls mean anything until after the GOP convention. If bush gets a boost he is still in this game.

First of all, thank you for the link-back. That was a generous and classy move on your part. Secondly, I don't see how your method of splitting the undecideds even between Bush & Kerry would change the results.
If K > B,
and you add 1/2 U to each you get
K + 1/2U > B +1/2U.
The end result is still the same.
I do wonder how much of a boost Bush will get after the GOP convention, strategicly timed so late in the season. AND, how long will that bump last. Polls are interesting to show trends and how effectively each candidate is getting his message out but, like you, I agree that only one that truly matters happens on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.
oh i did not say who i had winning.
it was Kerry :(.
Oh well gridlock and a stop to goverment spending here we come.
